We trade to live, transactions are happening everywhere in your life.
No, it’s not from the transactions of buying goods that I’m talking about. Transactions are everywhere around you—your friends, parents, lover loves you for a reason.
Harsh truth and cruel world.
Well, I’m not being pessimistic or nihilistic. I’m just being real and stating true facts that might tweak your mind. Some will say it’s absurdism. But today I’m not talking about philosophy.
Just a realization which you might have realized too, but maybe wished to know if anybody else was feeling the same.
Now, some people don’t feel love at all. What about them?
Some people don’t feel it and some don’t get it. Yet they make transactions of human relationships. It’s like the world is putting price tags on everything.
Wonderful? No.
But, you are thinking that you don’t put conditions when you love. When you don’t expect that kind of transactions with the people you love.
Your expectation becomes the price which your beloved people can’t pay.
Doesn’t that mean we are diving deep in debts? Sadly, we are.
Mothers’ love to her child, lovers’ love for the companion, or just a friend’s love for one another—so, they all require a transaction.
“If you do this, you get this.”
You wished if someone would stop putting price tags on relationships like you. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen and will not ever.
Everybody, including your parents, require a proof that you are worth it. A safe investment.
But they are the only people expecting less ROI (Return of Investment) while giving the most.
If they are expecting too… then your friends or lover is expecting more from you. You as a man can’t fail them.
But, what if you do?
Investors feel bad and they turn away their faces from that share/stocks forever.
But you as a human never wished to be treated like stocks.
But that wish of yours was your type of ROI, which they failed to give you.
Results?
If you win, they win; if you lose, they lose. But, when you win your investment with the expected ROI which is simply just a wish—never gets fulfilled.
So, there is never a win for you.
Now? So sad…
Should you die? No.
Should you live? No.
What should you do?
I have no suggestions yet, maybe in my next writing.
But why did I write the things that people already know?
An expression of anger, maybe.
It all happened for the mentality of rat race, and the modern lifestyle we all envy.
Imagine life back in 1500s.
Although me as a man living in a third world country would be suffering for different physical reasons, but not a mental one.
Almost all people would not live a life with such mental misery.
“The more modern we become, the more complex problem we acquire.”
Should we stop flowing with the modern lifestyle?
No, we should only take in the things that are good for us, and embrace it and reject the ones that fool our existence on Earth.
